Once positioned on the transfer bench, the outside bench seat flips up and locks to have the second arm that creates a more secure feel. You will NEVER have to step in the tub again even when you have your mobility, because of the chairs versatility.This creates a safer bathroom feel, and reduces anxiety during the transferring and showering process.
